Total flight time for me is around 18.5 hours, but with layovers, my travel will be around 26 hours. Oh joy!
I’ll be boarding within the hour. I’m leaving a dreary, rainy Hawaii. In fact a flash flood warning has been issued for the area that includes the airport. Hopefully it won’t delay my first flight.
I got picked up by my Lyft driver a couple minutes after 7, and arrived at HNL to a very empty United lobby. Pre-check TSA only had 1 family in front of me. Quickly thru and got an iced tea from Starbucks. Then to my gate. Certainly early, but would much rather be here early than rushing!
