March 4 – celebrations

March 4th had lots of celebration. The Artic Plunge to celebrate our time in the Artic Circle (no none of us did it). A presentation of the pictures guests had taken of the Northern Lights. The Farewell Reception with the staff.

In between, my sister and I made it to the hot tub at the aft of the ship, and did our own cold water plunge in the spa.

Crew and guests played Baggo most days. Cornhole with added challenges of using the different levels of the stairs thru the game.

The bags of ice that would be put in the hot tub (we assume they turned off the heating element) for the Artic Plunge.

After enjoying the aft hot tub on Deck 7, my sister and I visited the spa once again to enjoy the dry sauna, the cold plunge, the Snow Grotto, mineral pool and hot tub.

Our stateroom attendant Ida led the housekeeping staff onto the stage. She is from Bali, and together she and Aaron did a great job keeping our stateroom clean and stocked.

We went to bed knowing we would be arriving into Amsterdam around 1030am the next day for our last full day on the ship.
