We awoke to nothing special. We were once again at sea. A check of the map showed we were in general area of Bodo, and still in the Artic Circle. We had breakfast once again in the World Cafe. Over breakfast, my sister helped dad get back on his podcast. After breakfast he found a seat in the Wintergarten area to look out to sea and listen to his podcast. My sister had gone to read her book in our stateroom, and I helped mom with some more Facebook things.

My sister, mom and I decided to go for a walk outside on decks 8 and 9.

Mom then attended a lecture about penguin eggs, and the rest of us chilled. After lunch (which included my sister and I trying reindeer sausage) my sister and dad attempted to go for a walk outside, but it had gotten significantly windier.
The girls had tea at 4pm.

And then we decided it was time to head to the spa. Mom never went to the spa when we were on the Antarctica cruise, but she decided to join us today (maybe with a little daughter pressuring). We sat in the dry sauna for a bit, then got in the vitality/mineral pool. Unfortunately, mom floats just a little too well, and couldn’t sit, so we opted to move to the hot tub for a bit.

The parents attended a talk on Norse mythology, and then we gathered for dinner.
So a chill day on the ship at sea. There were times throughout the day when the ship was rocking rolling some, but I never thought it was much different than our Drake Passage last year en route to Antarctica.
