Around 4pm we got on our first zodiak ride!
So we got all bundled up.
and headed out into the snow. Dave was our zodiak driver. We got to see 2 types of penguins – gentoo and chinstrap, and most likely a weddell seal.
A successful trip!
Afterwards, my sister and I made a stop in the Nordic Store so we could buy a patch.
and i grabbed a picture of our science team for future reference.
Tomorrow is going to be busier for us! Mom is scheduled for an SOB ride at 930, my sister and I at 1030, then my sister and I are supposed to kayak at 130pm, and then all 3 of us go on a landing!
