We start our journey east in the morning. My parents start their journey at 2:50 pm eastern, my sister at 4:40pm pacific, and me at 10am hawaii. That means my parents and I start around the same time with the time zone differences, and a few hours after, my sister starts. And yet her flights get her there the quickest.
This morning as we were checking in, my parents set a picture of their bags, and I sent one of mine.
My parents bags – I’m assuming the green and blue ones are checked. And they better have all their meds and electronics in their carry on. Funny story – when I reminded them last week to bring their electronics in their carry on, my mom lamented – “all of them?”. And I asked what they were bringing?
Their cell phones, and my mom will have her Kindle.
Which she would have on the plane anyway to read. LOL
I have 1 extra bag this year. For Antarctica, I had my zebra carryon and a personal bag. This year I’m checking a bag as well. Seems a little strange to be bringing more stuff this time, but its going to be a lot colder! And this long time Hawaii resident (almost 26 years) is going to need plenty of clothes!
