Second day at sea

After our mid-night wake up call for the lights, my sister and I somewhat regretted our 740am alarm for yoga. But we rallied and started our day stretching and breathing. After, we tried to connect with our parents the night told us they would either go to breakfast, or would go straight to the 930 am talk about the northern lights. My sister and grabbed a bite, and then checked out the theater to see if we could spot our parents. No joy. We kept figuring we were missing them, and we went to hang out in some of lounge chairs in the wintergarden area. Around 1040am, we realized the wildlife watch was going on on the Explorers Lounge, so we headed there to check it out. And to see if our parents were there. No Moore parents were spotted.

By this time it was 11am, and we decided we should check their room again. This time when we buzzed, we eventually got a response. Yup, they had still been asleep after the overnight call. They got up and about 30 minutes, we went off in search of lunch (or breakfast for them).

After lunch we took a stroll outside on the deck, where it was quite chilly on the shaded side of the ship.

My sister and I enjoyed some spa time checking out the suana and mineral pool.

We had planned to meet the parents for the photographing the northern lights at 4pm, but moments before we headed down, there was an announcement that it was very popular and would be live streamed in the staterooms. So our parents joined us in our room to watch.

Then we headed up to the 7th deck for tea.

We agreed to meet at 730 pm for dinner.

Stay tuned for the end of our day, and pictures that don’t want to seem to load.
