At 630pm, we all attended a talk in the Star Theater about some of the wildlife we may see during the cruise. The naturalist on board will do another talk on whales, dolphins, and seals.

He went thru lots of the birds and some of the fish we may see.

We then went to the World Cafe for dinner and desert. I grabbed a sampling of several foods, including gratin cauliflower, puff pastry wrapped venison, Cajun shrimp, meatballs, stew, lamb, roasted darken, asparagus and potatoes.
Not pictured, the salted caramel and chocolate gelato.

After dinner, we headed back to the Star Theater for a greeting by the crew.
Our cruise director (who has been leading the port talks), I believe Andre, from England.

Captain Daniel, from Sweden.

He then brought up the heads of the different departments to introduce them. There are 485 crew on board.

Several had some amusing intros. Including head of housekeeping from Transvlania, but don’t worry he’s a vegetarian. And our favorite person (beverage manager), Simba, who was not in Lion King. And the head chef who will be our scuba instructor.
They then brought out our 4 member enrichment team. Two historians, a naturalist and an astronomer.

Dad with his daughters.

We stayed up chatting until 11 or so, and planning our day for tomorrow.
